Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The If Boutique Hotel is beautifully designed, with rooms that mirror its modern aesthetic. Its location proves convenient for many, with easy access to the Albert Cuyp Market and within a reasonable walk of the city center. Guests particularly appreciate the available tea and coffee, sometimes noting the usefulness of the shared kitchen; a few found the rooms a little small, lacking a mini-fridge or wardrobe. Many rooms offer pleasant views, especially those overlooking the canal.

lovely stay!

helpful staffrelaxed atmosphereunreliable wifi
i found iris helpful and informative. she gave us great info about things to do and see. free tea, coffee, and kitchen equipment were available in the lounge. i really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. the rituals shower gel and hand creams in the room were amazing!!!
i didn't like that the only way into the building and rooms is through your phone. the wi-fi often did not work well. since nobody is working onsite most hours, it felt a bit stressful.

excellent locationeasy accessclean roomlimited storagesmall sinkweak wi-fi
The location was excellent. It allowed easy access to various attractions via trams. A leisurely 25-minute walk along the canals took me to the town center. The room was very clean. I found it well maintained.
My room lacked ample storage. There were only a few coat hangers. The small sink located in the bedroom seemed illogical. It had an attempted repair which was noticeable, and was also smashed. I struggled to connect to the wi-fi to access the digital key.

SUPER Stay!

modern hotelfriendly staffhot room
This modern hotel was like staying in a beautiful townhouse. The location was GREAT, near site seeing and amazing restaurants. The staff was very friendly, and they provided free coffee at any time as well as beer. I felt at home, charming.
The room felt far too hot. The thermostat did not work. I had three nights of no sleep due to a hot room. IT WAS awful.
Rooms
9/10
The room was decorated well, and it was really clean and modern. It had electric door opening from our phone and also electric curtains. The room was great.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers a casual approach to the communal lounge and garden. A shared kitchen and fridge are available. There is a free hot drinks machine that offers coffee, tea and hot chocolate and keyless entry to the hotel and the room.
Dining
10/10
Complimentary, decent coffee and snacks are on offer. Wine and beers are available to help themselves to in the lounge area. The free drinks were unexpected and very welcome, which surprised me.

The room looks exactly like the pictures. The hotel was beautifully designed and quiet, even though it's right next to one of the biggest canals. It's perfectly situated to be walking distance from the city center as well as the museumsplein. The hotel owner is super nice and very proud that his hotel runs on renewable energy only!
The shower i used i could not take it in my hand.
